1500W high-power stage lamp heat pipe heat sink

Project details:

The customer needs to solve a 1500W LED stage lighting with a theoretical heating power of 1200W, which needs to be completed in a small local space. The size is 250mmx300mmx200mm heatsink, and the number of fans can be customized. The maximum temperature of the LED chip cannot exceed 85 degrees, and the weight must be controlled at around 3kg. The requirements of this design are relatively strict, because the space is small and the size of the heat sink is small, high thermal conductivity and high efficiency heat dissipation methods must be used to complete it.

Designing:

Based on the customer’s needs, our engineers have discussed and decided to use a Soldering process to complete this design. The heat pipes use 24 pcs heat pipe with a diameter of 8, and the fin plates of the heat sink are 0.2mm thick with a spacing of 1.2mm. The purpose of this is to increase the heat exchange area. The bottom of the heat sink is connected by heat pipes to maximize the rapid heat transfer to the fin plates, and then the forced convection of the fan is used to dissipate the heat into the air

After data calculation, it was found that when the power is 1500W, the maximum temperature at the bottom of the heat sink is around 80 degrees, and the pressure is 134N/m2 under the condition of air volume of 10m/s; It can meet our design requirements, so after we finish the samples.
